The Small and Mighty!

3 African Sisters - Smiles Project - Uplifting the coffee community one child at a time

In 2008 Rwanda changed its entire education system from French to English. The challenge was to give schools and students the necessary supported to grasp the English language fully.

“Smiles” is our project that aims to teach English to the young underprivileged children in the coffee farming communities of Rwanda. This project initially started as a weekend informal day camp by our two children and their friends, who were passionate in their belief that education should not be a lottery of birth.
